Product Description:

LIDOCAINE (LYE doe kane) is an anesthetic. It causes loss of feeling in the skin and surrounding tissues. It is used to prevent pain from some procedures. This medicine is also used to treat minor burns, scrapes, and insect bites.

This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions. 

Therapeutic indications:

- Nasal procedures such as puncture of the maxillary sinus;
- Oral and dental procedures prior to injection;
- Oropharyngeal procedures such as gastrointestinal endoscopy;
- Procedures in the respiratory tract, such as insertion of instruments and tubes;
- Procedures in the larynx, trachea and bronchi;
- Obstetrics and gynecology procedures, such as in vaginal delivery, suturing ruptures in mucosae and cervical biopsies
