Dry Skin and rashes

My children's skin are dry in nature and there are rashes in their face too.. My friend recommended this Dexeryl cream and when I started to apply it on them, there got a big difference in their skin.. But the problem is that, if I discontinue it at any time, the skin will become dry agin and the redness will come too..
