Ciprobay 250 Tablet 10's contains class of antibiotics known as fluoroquinolones, primarily used to treat or prevent certain infections caused by bacteria. It is prescribed in the treatment of pneumonia, gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease), typhoid fever (a serious infection that is common in developing countries), infectious diarrhea (infections that cause severe diarrhea), and infections of the skin, bone, joint, abdomen (stomach area), and prostate (male reproductive gland). Bacterial infection is a condition in which bacteria grows in the body and cause infection. It can target any body part and multiple very quickly.
Dosage.
Ciprobay 250 Tablet 10's can be taken with or without food (excluding dairy products). Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor if you are not sure.
Side Effects.
Like all medicines, Ciprobay 250 Tablet 10's can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. You should contact the doctor if you have nausea, diarrhea, liver function tests abnormal, vomiting, rash and change of the heart rhythm (ECG) in patients with low blood potassium level. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
