Product Description.

Zovirax Cream is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of cold sores (Herpes Labialis) and Genital Herpes. Zovirax Cream may be used alone or with other medications.

Zovirax Cream belongs to a class of drugs called Antivirals.

It is not known if Zovirax Cream is safe and effective in children younger than 12 years of age.

Side Effects.

• easy bruising or bleeding,
• purple or red pinpoint spots under the skin,
• little or no urination,
• painful or difficult urination,
• swelling in your feet or ankles,
• feeling tired, and
• shortness of breath

Get medical help right away, if you have any of the symptoms listed above.

The most common side effects of Zovirax Cream include:

• nausea,
• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• general ill feeling,
• headache, and
• mouth pain while using an acyclovir buccal tablet

Tell the doctor if you have any side effect that bothers you or that does not go away.
